Tyre performance

6. Requirements of climate (cold tolerance in high latitudes and heat tolerance in low latitudes).
7. Requirements for road conditions (good pavement resistance to fatigue, low heat generation, heat resistance and low noise).

General knowledge of tires
A set of tubeless tires includes an outer tire, a inner tire, and a pad.Inner tire has natural rubber tubules and butyl rubber tubules, and outer tire has bias tubules and semi-steel radial tubules. Most radial tires are tubeless tires.The outer tire is composed of rubber and skeleton materials. The main function of the skeleton material is to bear the internal and external stress of the tire and maintain the shape of the tire. The requirements for skeleton materials are: high strength, high modulus, good heat resistance, good fatigue resistance, stable size, good adhesion with rubber, cheap price, small specific gravity, etc.
Introduction of tire components
1) Tire crown
Because of direct contact with the ground, tire crown should has good performance of abrasion resistance, tear resistance, pricking resistance, good grip.
2) Tire shoulder
The stress concentration part,tire shoulder rubber is thicker, heat dissipation is poor, so the requirement has higher strength, lower heat generation, faster heat dissipation, heat resistance, high constant elongation.
3) Tire side
Protect tire body,requires resistance to flexure, cracking and aging.
4) Tire body
The main parts of the tire bearing, the requirements of dimensional stability, fatigue resistance, impact resistance.
5) Buffer layer
Strengthen the strength of the tire crown, improve the impact resistance and puncture resistance, and protect the tire body.
6) Tire tracks
Fix the tire firmly to the rim.
7) Oil skin glue
Protect the tire body and inner tire.

Use and maintenance of truck tires
Storage:
1. The tires should be stored in the warehouse to avoid the sun and rain.
2. Tyres should not be mixed with oils, inflammables and chemical corrosives.
3. The tire should be away from heat sources, power generation equipment and places that produce ozone.
4. Tires should be used in the order of first in, first out in production and warehousing, and the storage period should not exceed three years.
Shipment:
Forklift fork is not allowed to be directly inserted into the central hole of the tire ring to lift the tire, so as not to damage the tire ring.
The selection:
According to the use of vehicles,choose suitable tire type, such as radial tires, oblique tires, engineering tires, agricultural tires, etc.
Assembly:
1. Tires must be assembled on the specified models and rims. Special tools and instruments should be used to install and remove tires.
2. The same axle shall be equipped with the same specification,structure, pattern and grade tires.
3. Bias tires and radial tires cannot be mixed.
4. Pay attention to the directional mounting to the tire.
5. Tires with anti-skid chains should be installed symmetrically and removed immediately when not in use.
Decorative pattern:
1. Choose the pattern type according to the service conditions and vehicle types, such as transverse, longitudinal, mixed and off-road patterns.
2. Tread pattern grinding to wear mark should stop using.
Air pressure:
1. The tire shall be inflated according to the national standard stipulated in the "pressure load corresponding meter".
2. During using the tire, the internal pressure must be kept normal. When running for a long time or working, the tire pressure should be checked regularly.When stopping for a long time, the front and rear axle must be set up.
3. Tires with high air pressure are easy to explode.Low air pressure tires easily deformation and crush.
4. When tire twins are installed together, the air pressure of the two tyres should be the same.
Load:
1. The tire load should be in line with the current national standard provisions. Overload is strictly prohibited.
2. The loading of vehicles should be evenly distributed to avoid uneven grind on the tread of tires.
3. High grade and heavy load tires should not exceed the speed limit. The reinforced tire can increase the load appropriately according to the design standard.
Speed:
1. All kinds of tires have different speed limits. Overspeed will cause early damage of tires.
2. If the road situation is not good, don't drive too fast. Try to reduce the sharp brakes and sharp turns to avoid the impact of tires on sharp objects.
3. Drive at high speed. Tire temperature is too high, to take timely measures to prevent the explosion.
4. High speed tire and rim assembly must be dynamic balance detected, configurated and calibrated.
Vehicle condition:
1. The front wheel and beam of the vehicle should be frequently detected and adjusted, otherwise it will cause partial tire grinding and early damage.
2. Do not use rusty or missized rims, which will cause tire toe abrasion.
Transposition:
1. The tires should be changed regularly.
2. The truck trailer tire and construction machinery tire shall be maintained for the first grade when combined with the vehicle. If necessary (such as serious unilateral grinding), the truck shall be shifted once.Conduct secondary maintenance in combination with vehicle secondary maintenance, find problems and deal with them timely.
Inner tire:
1. Use inner tires according to the size of the tire.
2. Butyl inner tire is with high temperature resistant, good air tightness, high-speed tires should choose butyl inner tires.
3. Separate storage of inner tire should be filled with appropriate amount of air, and should not be folded or stacked. If not separate storage, it should be placed in the outer tire and inflated appropriately.
Renovation:
1. The tire should be refurbished and repaired until the grinding mark or damage occurs.
2 Ensure safety. Refurbished tyres should not be used as steering wheels (front wheels).

The abrasion life of radial tire is generally 75%~120% higher than that of bias tire.

5. Good operation and stability.
The starting speed of radial tire is 3.5%~15% faster than that of bias tire. The acceleration effect is 30% faster.Braking efficiency is about 10% higher.
