What are the loading and unloading requirements for the transport of corrosive dangerous goods?

Corrosive goods are more dangerous, whether in the process of transportation or loading and unloading, once leaked, it will cause direct harm to human body, and even can not be recovered. Therefore, in the process of transportation and loading of corrosive goods must be carried out in accordance with the specifications.

| Transportation and handling requirements:

1. Oxidative corrosive products shall not contact combustibles and reducing agents. Organic corrosive products are strictly prohibited from contacting open fire, high temperature or oxidizing agent. 1. When the goods are found to leak in the process of transportation, they should be covered with dry sand and dry soil to absorb immediately. Concentrated sulfuric acid has strong oxidation and can passivate with the surface of the low alloy high strength structural steel of the tank to form an oxide film and prevent further reaction. 1. Influence of tank trailer inner wall cleaning

The inner wall of the sulfuric acid tank trailer will be cleaned every year in order to carry out inspection and maintenance. When clean with clean water, the concentrated sulfuric acid covered by the inner wall will be diluted into dilute sulfuric acid, which will react with the original passivation film, causing the destruction of the passivation film.

2. Influence of concentrated sulfuric acid flow rate

During the loading, unloading and transportation of concentrated sulfuric acid, there will be movement. If the flow rate is too high, the passivation film will be destroyed, resulting in corrosion of carbon steel. Pipeline transportation is involved in the loading and unloading process, so special attention should be paid to the control of the flow rate. 3. Temperature influence of concentrated sulfuric acid

The premise of the passivation reaction mentioned above is cold concentrated sulfuric acid. Once the temperature rises and turns into hot sulfuric acid, the metal corrosion will be seriously aggravated and the passivation film cannot be formed or destroyed. Therefore, attention should be paid to the control of the temperature of the medium, especially in high temperature in summer, and solar exposure should be avoided when parking.

4. There will be a certain amount of free sulfur trioxide in high concentration of industrial sulfuric acid, but there may be white turbidity.

Low concentration sulfuric acid placed for a long time at higher ambient temperature will further concentrate to industrial sulfuric acid and SO3 will appear.
