How to maintain flatbed trailer

1. The connection between the turbocharger and the intake and exhaust pipes of the flatbed trailer transport vehicle must be tight and no air leakage. If there is air leakage between the exhaust pipe and the exhaust turbine, the efficiency of the turbocharger will be greatly reduced and the exhaust temperature of the diesel engine will rise sharply, which will damage the valve and the turbocharger.

2. Before starting the new machine, the supercharger and the supercharger oil filter must be filled with clean oil to ensure that the diesel engine works together and the supercharger bearing can be lubricated immediately. After driving 8000 ~ 10000km, the filter element of the supercharger oil filter shall be replaced.

3. Before stopping the diesel engine, the flatbed trailer truck should run for 3-5min at idle speed to reduce the speed and temperature of the supercharger, and monitor the operation sound of the supercharger. If found abnormal should stop check. If the turbocharger rotor is not flexible rotation stuck or wear sound, must be sent to a qualified maintenance station for repair.

4. After every 500h or 3000km of operation, the flatbed trailer truck shall check the clearance on the rotor shaft of the supercharger, and clear the dust and carbon accumulation on the compressor turbine housing and rotor blades. At this point to remove the turbocharger from the diesel engine, replace the metal gasket between the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Mechanical cleaning of the rotor parts is not allowed. Instead, gasoline or other liquid cleaning solution for aluminum parts should be used.

5. The lock nut of the compressor of the supercharger of the flatbed trailer truck cannot be removed, otherwise the dynamic balance of the rotor of the supercharger will be destroyed and the supercharger will be damaged.

6. Do not make any removed turbocharger rotating parts damaged or force deformation, otherwise it will affect the flatbed transport vehicle turbine balance. Also do not damage any rubber seals.
